For thousands of years, the six elegant sisters were standing at the top of the Acropolis bearing the marks of time as years passed. Over the centuries, a coat of black grime came to mask their beauty, although it could never mask the violent kidnapping of one of them in the 19th century.

However, the time has come to display the remaining five in their original ivory glow, revealing their full glory. For three and a half years, conservators at the Acropolics Museum have been cleaning the Caryatid statues, Ionic columns in female form, using a specially developed laser technology.

We think that is worth visiting Greece just to see with your eyes the great divas of ancient Greece, including the empty space that is awaiting the return of the sixth sister for almost 200 years.
