Originally the house and art studio of a renowned Greek artist, Villa Paloma enjoys a privileged setting, only a few steps from the small enchanting port of Kamini. Its wide terraces, complemented by impressive sculptures, offer breathtaking views of the sea and nearby coast of the Peloponnese. Further to a recent extensive renovation, this traditional stone house combines authentic fragments from the past with contemporary design, delicate colors and eclectic furniture, and creates a modern retreat for relaxation.
Spread over three levels, the home is an architectural delight and is ideal for a family or friends’ get-together or to host a private celebration, corporate dinner or yoga retreat. Each level can be autonomous, featuring its own fully equipped kitchenette and facilities.
A sophisticated 1-double bedroom suite at the top level of the property, with its spacious living room and an open-plan kitchen and dining area can accommodate 2 people (or up to 4 if sofa bed is used). A large terrace offers the ideal setting for a peaceful breakfast, sundowners or al-fresco dining overlooking the coastline and the enchanting port of Kamini.
The mid level of the property offers a master bedroom with a lounge area and a fully equipped kitchenette, connecting to an en-suite double bedroom that opens up onto a shaded balcony with stone arches, fitted with a large patio area and its impressive sculpture. This elegant 2-bedroom suite can accommodate 4 people (or up to 5 if the sofa bed is used). Next door, with a separate entrance, stands a double bedroom studio, incorporating into its design natural stone elements.
At the ground level, a 2-bedroom suite with separate entrances, also featuring an equipped kitchenette in one of the bedrooms, can accommodate another 4 guests (or 6 if the sofa bed is used). A large surrounding courtyard flanked by Mediterranean gardens promises moments of bliss.
Villa Paloma offers the chance to reset, recharge and reconnect, inviting its guests to experience Hydra through the eyes of an artist!
